“Hong Kong Film New Action - Idea‧Action‧Your NEXT” Workshop

The 7-day workshop aimed at providing intensive training for young people aiming to become filmmakers. The workshop participants learned how to pitch film projects and grasp the basic knowledge of film financing, marketing and film administration. There were around 20 participants and they were divided into four groups. Under the guidance of the professional instructors, the participants co-produced a film project and formulated pitching strategies. Subsequently, arrangements were made for the participants to present their group film projects to professional film investors during the Mock Project Pitching Session at the “Hong Kong Film New Action - Idea‧Action‧Your NEXT” Symposium.
