“Hong Kong Film New Action - Power of Media Convergence” Symposium

The symposium gathered renowned experts from the film industry and multimedia sector to explore ways to develop convergence between the film industry and multimedia sector. Representatives of the film industry, patent licensing business, video sharing websites, multimedia and mobile platforms, and media sectors (such as on-line game developers and comics and animation enterprises) from Hong Kong, the Mainland, Taiwan, Japan, North America, etc. were invited as keynote speakers. The symposium consisted of three sessions, covering the following themes:

1. Success Cases and Business Models for Cross-media Collaboration between Hong Kong and Mainland China
2. Success Cases and Business Models for Cross-media Collaboration between Hong Kong and Taiwan
3. International Success Cases and Business Models for Cross-media Collaboration
